Ribbons & Bows

buzz_kelbycreek02Sugar worked with Director of Sales and Marketing at Kelby Creek to promote awareness of the Nixa Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the official opening of Kelby Creek to the community. Nixa officials said it was the biggest turnout for a ribbon cutting they had ever seen.

buzz_costsMany start-up businesses are looking for guidance on what to budget for identity development and marketing materials. The following is designed to provide an overview of costs to consider:

Logo: we typically offer an identity package that includes design of logo, business card, envelope, letterhead, and HTML e-newsletter header for around $1,800. Add $600-$800 if you need a name generated. Printing costs are not included and are dependent on quantities.

Exterior signage: $900 for design and interaction with sign company.

Print ad: $950 with resize costs averaging $75 thereafter.

Pocket Folder: With insert page, typically $2,500 through final art. Does not include printing.

Sales Sheet: $850 for first sheet design.

Bringing Home the Gold (and Silver)

buzz_addys20101Sugar was awarded two Gold Addy’s and five Silver Addy’s on February 20, 2010. Thank you to our clients who allow us to produce award-winning work. The beautiful Ella Weiss web site and the vehicle wrap for the Big Horn Ranch received the Gold Addy’s and will then move on to the regional competition.

Kelby Creek - Dec. 2009

buzz_kelbycreekSugar collaborated with client Kelby Creek to author an advertorial that ran in the Christmas Day edition of the Springfield News-Leader, which directly resulted in the sale of a lot just a few weeks later. The client was thrilled with the ROI on this marketing investment.

For the second year in a row, Russ was asked to create a sculpture or something out of a retired bowing pin to benefit Big Brother Big Sisters of the Ozarks. This year it seemed fitting for function to follow form. Russ was inspired to create a classic Midwestern bird house, complete with a Missouri licence plate topper and copper entrance. All pins were featured at the 24th Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake and Auctioned off online.
